Below is a list of books I use.

Alfred's Series Start with 1A to 1B, 2A to 2B etc.. Please make sure you are buying the correct level. They are all color coordinated. Alfred has many materials for furthering your education. You can buy as many of them as you like to be used in conjunction with your lesson.

Both Faber & Faber Lesson & Theory books are mandatory. This series also has many fun supplementary books from country, classical, rock, broadway, etc. Students may pick out a supplementary book of their choice within their lesson level. If students have a strong background in music because of band or choir, Faber & Faber also has an accellerated piano program for the same age level.

This book includes the lessons, scales, and theory All-In-One book. It can also include a companion c.d.. It is very accellerating and is perfect for students with intermediate music skills.

Books are labeled 1,2,3,4. This series allows the singer to have basic music knowledge, through ear training, music reading, and symbol recognition.
